Hi! I'm Lauren, the artist behind Lauren Birch Art.
I create original paintings and digital illustrations inspired by fantasy, storytelling, and the simple beauty found in both nature and everyday life. My work often begins with something familiar and evolves into something more imaginative.
I'm especially drawn to narrative and the idea that a simple piece of art can hold many interpretations. I love watching each work come to life - the worlds, characters, and spaces that begin as an idea and slowly develop into a fully formed visual story. Just as much, I value that each viewer can step into a piece and create their own meaning within it.
My inspiration comes from many places — books, music, visual media, and everyday experiences. Even the simplest moment or image can spark an idea that begins forming into a visual narrative in my mind. My faith is also a deep source of inspiration — a reminder that creativity itself is a gift meant to be shared.
From each of these sparks, I begin shaping a concept - building a story internally before translating it onto canvas, paper, or screen. I naturally think in visuals and have always been drawn to observing the world through this lens. This perspective has shaped how I approach art — not just as something to create, but as a way of interpreting the world around me.
Creative media has always been something that connects people through emotion, imagination, and story. I hope my work offers a similar experience — whether that's curiosity, wonder, or a moment of connection in its own way.
